ホンダ has recently issued a recall for nearly 250,000 vehicles produce between 2015 and 2020 due to potential engine defects that could lead to damage.
The affected vehicles primarily feature Honda V6 engines and include models such as the 2016, 2018, and 2019 Pilot; the 2017 and 2019 Ridgeline; the 2018 and 2019 Odyssey; the 2015-2020 Acura TLX; and the 2016-2020 Acura MDX.
According to Honda, a manufacturing defect in the crankshaft could result in premature wear of the connecting rod bearings, ultimately causing them to seize. The issue is attributed to incorrect settings during the manufacturing process, leading to engine components not meeting specifications and resulting in malfunctions.
