On January 6, GAC Aion officially opened the presale for its new compact electric vehicle, the UT Parrot Dragon. The Aion UT features a sleek and stylish exterior design, characterized by smooth curves and a modern aesthetic. The new model adopts a fresh family-style design, with polygonal headlights seamlessly integrated into the closed front grille, creating an adorable visual appeal. A large air intake under the license plate enhances the front end's dynamic presence.

From the side, the Aion UT boasts fluid lines, a two-tone floating roof, and a streamlined hatchback silhouette. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,270 mm in length, 1,850 mm in width, and 1,575 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm, offering a spacious interior.

At the rear, the taillights complement the design of the front headlights with a rounded and cute aesthetic. The rear bumper incorporates black elements with a concave design, adding depth and a three-dimensional look. A small spoiler on the roof further enhances the vehicle's trendy style.

Inside, the Aion UT's cabin impresses with its modern and minimalistic family-style design. The interior is wrapped in soft-touch materials, and ambient lighting is incorporated into the air vents to improve overall comfort.

The dashboard adopts a semi-open design for added practicality. A recessed platform in front of the front passenger seat provides space for small items or decorative figurines, enhancing the cabin's utility.

The Aion UT is well-equipped with cutting-edge technology. It features an 8-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch floating touchscreen, creating a tech-forward atmosphere. The infotainment system supports HiCar, CarLink, and CarPlay, claiming to offer unparalleled connectivity in the under-100,000-yuan price range.

Safety features include side airbags with V-shaped cavities, reverse automatic emergency braking (AEB), and reverse pedal misapplication prevention, ensuring comprehensive driver and passenger protection.

The vehicle also comes with an AI-powered voice assistant capable of controlling navigation, seats, and air conditioning with continuous commands.

In terms of comfort, the Aion UT includes rear air vents and the largest panoramic sunroof in its class. Interior space is a strong point, with ample legroom in the rear even when the driver's seat is adjusted for comfort. The trunk offers 440 liters of cargo capacity, meeting the needs of most family outings.

The Aion UT is powered by a 100-kilowatt Quark electric drive system, offering a top speed of 150 km/h. It features an advanced LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery developed by Inpai Battery Technology, providing a range of 420 km on a single charge. Fast charging is supported, with the battery charging from 30% to 80% in just 24 minutes.
